Message from the Chairman

Hi all,

I wanted to update everyone on a few changes within the committee over the summer.

Tony and Julie Lorton, along with Stacey Parr, have decided to step down from the committee due to personal reasons. Tony is the  Immediate Past Treasurer, Julie our Vice Chairperson, and Stacey our Webmaster. We are grateful for everything they have contributed during their time on the committee and fully understand their reasons for stepping down.

To ensure continuity and the smooth running of the DA, the committee met on 22nd September and agreed to co‑opt Martin Clemsen onto the committee. Martin has kindly taken on responsibility for both the Facebook page and the website.

It was also agreed that April Dunbar will step up as Vice Chairperson on an interim basis until our AGM next February.

The committee extends its sincere thanks to Tony, Julie and Stacey for all their hard work and dedication.

We hope all DA members will continue to support the committee and enjoy their camping for the remainder of the season.
