Welcome to the Cornwall DA
Cornwall District Association is a section of The Camping and Caravanning Club. We are a friendly group, who enjoy camping and getting together at weekends. Our meets programme runs throughout Cornwall most weekends during the season.
Our meets are generally very free and easy. If any activity has been arranged you will be very welcome to join in if you want to, but no one will mind if you prefer to relax on your own. That’s what it’s all about – just enjoying your camping!!
Would you like to support your local DA?
We are looking for 3 people to join us on the Cornwall DA Committee following our AGM in February 2024. To enable the club to continue we need some more people to come forward and help, we are especially looking for someone to take on the role of Bookings Officer. If you would like further information then please speak with Neil (Chairman), Julie (Vice Chairman) or any of our current committee who will be able to answer any of your questions.
THS Stewards
We would like to say a big Thank You to all those that have helped to steward our THS’s this year, we could not of done it without your assistance.
We are looking for stewards for our 2024 THS meets at Bude Rugby Club and Watergate Bay. If your interested then please contact Neil Raikes or Julie Lorton to discuss further,even if you have never done it before and would like to help the club we can support this. Its free camping for the stewards. Look forward to hearing from anyone able to help and support our wonderful DA.
Kings Coronation Meet, Polmanter Holiday Park, St Ives
5th -8th May 2023
Our Bank holiday celebration weekend was attended by 28 units, many got into the spirit with decorations and enjoyed the beautiful, sunny St Ives on Saturday. On Sunday afternoon a cream tea was enjoyed by many to celebrate the occasion,with home made decorations coloured in by our Cornwall DA Youth and Junior members. A big thank you to Tony and Julie for organizing this, as well as stewarding the weekend.
Looking forward to seeing you all on the field again soon.

TEMPORARY HOLIDAY SITES (THS)
Temporary Holiday Sites (THS) are run by members for other members to enjoy great value camping in some of the best holiday locations throughout the country.
For a great holiday come and join us at one of the Temporary Holiday Sites that we are running between March to October. Our sites cover the length of the county, so why not spend a few days at each and explore the whole of Cornwall.
